What we provide

MicTest.live offers free browser-based diagnostic tools for microphones, cameras, speakers, headphones, keyboards, mice and displays, together with written troubleshooting guides. All tools run inside your browser and require no account.

Accuracy and limitations

The tools report what your browser and operating system make available through standard web APIs. That reporting is not always complete: some devices do not expose their sample rate or latency, some cameras report a nominal rather than actual frame rate, and browsers apply processing that can alter what you measure. Results are a strong indication, not a laboratory measurement.

The site and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Diagnostic guidance is not a guarantee

Our guides describe settings paths in operating systems and applications that change over time. Following them is at your own discretion. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from changes you make to your system, and you should not make changes you do not understand.

In particular, physical repair suggestions — cleaning a switch, attempting to revive a stuck pixel, opening a device — carry risk of damage and may void a warranty. Consider them information rather than instruction.

Acceptable use

You may use this site for personal, educational and professional purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt or overload it, use automated tools to scrape it at scale, or republish its written content without permission.

Intellectual property

The text, design and code of this site are ours unless otherwise stated. Product names mentioned in guides belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available continuously but do not guarantee it. Maintenance, hosting problems and circumstances beyond our control may interrupt access, and we accept no liability for consequences of downtime.

Advertising

Advertisements are supplied by third-party networks. We do not control their content and are not party to any transaction between you and an advertiser.

Changes

We may modify these terms or the tools at any time. The date above reflects the current version.
